中华人民共和国名誉主席宋庆龄陵园经中共中央批准成立于1984年1月，占地约12公顷，是全国重点文物保护单位和爱国主义教育示范基地。

 　　宋庆龄陵园有纪念广场、宋庆龄汉白玉雕像、由邓小平同志亲笔题词的宋庆龄纪念碑、宋庆龄生平事迹陈列室等纪念设施。

　　宋庆龄陵园还保留了万国公墓外籍人墓园，并建立了名人墓园。名人墓园安葬有爱国老人马相伯、抗日英雄谢晋元、"三毛之父"张乐平等知名人士；外籍人墓园葬有来自世界25个国家的600多名外籍人士，其中有鲁迅的日本朋友山完造夫妇、宋庆龄的美籍女友耿丽淑等。

　　座落在宋庆龄陵园东南部的"上海儿童博物"由球幕电影厅、展示厅、玩具馆、航海馆、航天馆和多功能厅组成，设计极富儿童情趣，融思想性、知识性和娱乐性为一体，是上海市首批科普教育基地之一。

　　衬托这些丰富人文影观的是宋庆龄陵园精彩纷呈的自然景观。园内一年四季树木葱笼，芳草如茵。月季园、桂花园、桃花园等各种微型生态园林被专家称为"迷你生态保护区"。

 A Brief Introduction to Soong Ching-ling Mausoleum

    The mausoleum for Soong Ching-ling, the honorary chairman of the P.R.C, was founede under the ratification of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Jan.1984 with the coverage of about 12 hectares. It is both one major institution for national protection of cultural relics and one exemplary base for patriotism.

    There are many memorial buildings in the Mausoleum, including the Memorial Square, Soong Ching-ling statue, the Monument to soong Ching-ling with Deng Xiao-ping's own ins cription,and the Exhibition Room of Soong Ching-ling's life story.

    The Mausoleum ahs preserved Wan Guo Cemetery which comprises the foreigner and the Celebrity Cemetery, the latter built later. In the Celebrity Cemetery buried such celebrities as Ma Xiang-bo, the ardent patriot, xie Jin-yuan, a hero in the war of Resistance Against Jampan, and Zhang Le-ping "the Father of San Mao". The Foreign Cemetery buries more than 600 foreign personages from 25 countrids. N For instance, Mr and Mrs Nei Shan Wan Zao, Lu Xun's Japanese friends and Geng Lishu, Soong Ching-ling's American woman friend.

    In the southeast of the Mausoleum lies Shanghai Children's Museum, Which is made up of ball-screen cinema, exhibition room, toy hall, navigation hall, aviation hall and a multifunction hall. Its design attracts children and it's ideological knowledge and entertainment contents merge into an organic whole. It's one of the first bases for popular scientific education.

    It is the splendid natural landscapes that set off the humane ones. A number of patches of grass and vegetation are planted in the Mausoleum, and the flowers blossom all the year. All kind of gardens, such as Chinese rose gardens, osmanthus gardens, peach gardens and so on, are referred to as "miniecological protective area" by experts.
